I made some kind of change to my Magento configurations and now can only get a 404 page. When checked about this on the Magento forum I found this answer to another poster:
If you have access to phpmyadmin for your shop db ou can edit the base URL in the core_config_data table. If you don’t have access to phpmyadmin, you can try and ask your web host to make the change back to your correct URL. I have gone into my file manager and cannot find this file. Even if I do a search for this file it indicates that the file cannot be found. Anyone know how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The reason you can't find this in File Manager is that it's a table in your database. That would be located using the phpMyAdmin tool in the cPanel.
In the same breath, I would recommend that you undo the changes that you made instead of making changes to your database. |

Thanks for your reply, the problem is that I cannot even log in to my Magenta control panel to figure out what change I made. I would think it has something to do with which domain I have as primary and not primary, but I don't understand this well enough to make a correct change.
I am very new to Magento. I have the domain www.naturalpestproductsstore.net using the name servers for Magento but my main site which is hosted with Go Daddy is www.naturalpestproductsstore.com. Should the .net be set as primary and if so how do I do this? |
